The SEDI Awards is an experience unlike any other. It celebrates the drive, strength and passion of the human spirit.
For the fourth time, SEDI will acknowledge the achievements of extraordinary people who have, through SEDI’s initiatives, found a way to overcome challenges such as unemployment, poverty or a disability. They have turned their lives around by becoming more financially literate, by building lasting assets or sharpening their entrepreneurial skills.
The SEDI Awards also recognizes front-line agents who help deliver SEDI’s programs and make a difference in the lives of thousands of low-income Canadians.
This year, CBC Television anchor Suhana Meharchand will return to the Awards as emcee, and Frank McKenna, one of Canada’s most respected business and political leaders, will be the keynote speaker. McKenna is Deputy Chair of TD Bank Financial Group, former Canadian Ambassador to the United States and former Premier of New Brunswick.
Join business, government and community leaders in celebrating the powerful impact of SEDI and its network of community partners across Canada.
Be inspired by people from all walks of life who, with the proper supports and tools, were able to achieve remarkable things.
Make a difference. Help raise funds to support SEDI find innovative solutions to the challenges of poverty in Canada.
